Gratuitous Parrot Blogging
I set up boxes for Peanut (my Meyer's Parrot) to chew on at work. Usually she chews off the top and sides, but this time she got inside. Just an amusing picture taken with the "Nightshot" feature of my Sony DSC-V3.
Note that most parrots are cavity dwellers, i.e. they burrow their nests out of tree trunks and the like, which is why they have such a strong instinct to chew. Peanut loves, just loves, both chewing and exploring any place she can crawl inside.
